Whiskey Creek's founder & lead-singing drummer has decided to call it quits with us after 28 years of performing our Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute. Out of respect for our fans and the founder's countless contributions to the band, the remaining members decided to continue the music but change the name to Whiskey River.

Whiskey Creek's exceptional and original lead-singer/frontman Darren Wichers has returned. With Darren, the outstanding vocalist & original "Creekette" Dawn Lindsey plus national recording artist Donny Paycheck on drums, our tradition as America's # 1 Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute & Classic Good Time Rock & Roll Band continues stronger than ever.

Our new website is: whiskeyriver.bz. We have sister sites on Facebook and Myspace. The current web address locations for whiskeycreek.net, Whiskey Creek My Space and the Facebook pages are automatically re-directed to our new websites as the "Creek" turns into a "River" and flows into the future.

Check out our schedule and come party with Whiskey River: "America's # 1 Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute & Classic Good Time Rock & Roll Band!"

...they play the entire Lynyrd Skynyrd repertoire in their tribute to the Southern Rock Band.... Although musicianship is the most important part of any real band, image plays an important part as well." Gig Magazine - November '98
